Alta ski area is located 25 miles southeast of Salt Lake City in the Wasatch Mountains of Utah. From Wasatch Blvd drive 8 miles up Little Cottonwood Canyon to the end of the road where Alta is located. Alta is one of the oldest ski resorts in the country. Alta is one of the few remaining ski resorts in America that prohibits snowboarders.
Beaver Mountain Ski Resort
Beaver Mountain Ski Resort is the oldest continuously family-owned family ski resort in America. With lots of skiing and snowboarding runs available, there are also excellent cross-country ski and snowmobile trails nearby. Beaver Mountain is located off Highway 89, 27 miles east of Logan, Utah, about 80 miles north of Salt Lake City. Beaver Mountain doesn't do snowmaking and with nearly all the runs located on east-facing slopes (that tend to receive less snow than west-facing slopes), often opens later than other ski areas in Utah.
Brian Head
In Southern Utah, take Interstate 15 to exit 75 in Parowan, then it’s just a short 14 mile drive up the mountain to Brian Head Resort. The two adjacent and connected mountains that comprise of Brian Head Resort are Brian Head Peak, which tops out at 11,307 feet, and Navajo Peak, with an elevation of 10,300 feet. Each of the two mountains is anchored by a full service base lodge facility. Due to its location and elevation the area offers consistent dry snow conditions.

Canyons Resort is one of three alpine ski resorts located in Park City, Utah and one of the largest resorts in North America with a total of 9 peaks. Located just 4 miles from historic Main Street, Canyons is the closest Park City ski resort to the Salt Lake City International Airport.
Deer Valley Ski Resort
The Sterling lift gives you access to 45 miles of trails. There are another 10 miles of trail on the lower mountain.
Eagle Point Ski Resort
3.5 hour drive from Salt Lake City or Las Vegas located just 18 miles into the mountains above Beaver, UT. This new ski and snowboard resort offers over 600 skiable acres, 40 runs, 1,500 vertical feet, 5 lifts, 2 snowcat transports, a terrain park, tubing, snowshoeing, modern amenities and backcountry terrain. All this plus ski-in/ski-out lodging.
Ogden Nordic
Cross country skiing in the Ogden Area, Utah. This park is well suited for great skiing from November to April and has 20 km of trails. Situated on the North side of Ben Lomond Mountain at an elevation of 6,000 feet, this park holds great snow and is quite scenic.
Park City Mountain Resort
Park City Mountain Resort is Utah's premier snow resort featuring one of the longest snow seasons in the state. Night skiing is offered every evening. The ski resort is located 34 miles east of Salt Lake City.
Powder Mountain
Ski-in ski-out lodging is available at the base of Powder Mountain located in Eden, Utah just 55 north of Salt Lake International Airport. Powder Mountain is the first and only ski resort in the US, offering a snow kite pass and an area exclusively for snow kiting. Snowcat skiing and tours are also available.
Snowbasin Ski Resort
Snowbasin is best known for wide-open bowls, gladed runs, manicured groomers, powder stash days after a storm, and rarely a lift line. The resort is located 35 miles north of Salt Lake City. The closest apres ski town is Ogden, just 17 miles away. During the 2002 olympic games Snowbasin hosted the downhill, combined (downhill and slalom), and super-G events.
Snowbird Ski Resort
Soldier Hollow
Cross country ski resort in Midway in the shadow of the Wasatch Mountains of Utah and about 30 minutes from Park City. Other activities include tubing and snow shoeing.
Solitude Ski Resort
The lower parking lot is 12.3 miles from the mouth of the canyon. The Sunrise Chairlift is open during the summer for downhill biking located at the upper parking lot.
Sundance Ski Resort
From I-15 take exit-272 (800 North) head east on 800 North through Orem to the mouth of the canyon. Stay in the left hand lane, which will drop onto HWY-189. Continue up the canyon 7 miles to Scenic Route #92 which is the first left after the tunnel. Sundance is 2 miles up the canyon on the left. From Park City take HWY-248 to HWY-40. Turn south onto HWY-40 towards Heber City. Drive through Heber City and turn right onto Scenic Route 92 and continue 2 miles to Sundance. Ray's Lift gives you over 20 miles of mountain biking that is usually open from May into October.
Wolf Creek Resort
One mile East of Wolf Creek Pass Summit, Wolf Creek has a a base area elevation of 10,350 ft. and is known for it's abundant powder.
